This year has already had some crazy twists and turns. While some were foreseen, the reality of them still carries weight.
For instance, Peyton retiring from the Denver Broncos and football, we managed to maintain our quivering lips as we listened to his farewell speech. As you may know, the Broncos hold a large part of our hearts here at Diers Exhibit and it was emotional to see him go, to be sure.
Now, after recently finding out that QB Brock Osweiler has signed over to the Houston Texans, we begin to wonder what the Broncos’ future will look like. However, we still have hope for our beloved team and in this period of change, we choose to reflect on the recent good times!
After the Broncos won Super Bowl 50, Denver hosted a parade downtown. One million people showed up to display their pride and love to the team and coaches. The entire Diers Exhibit team was lucky enough to be there that day!
We gathered all the Broncos paraphernalia we could find, threw it on, and headed downtown. The streets were starting to fill when we found our perfect viewing spot along Broadway. As we waited, we couldn’t help but notice the display items surrounding us and we’re reminded of other display items we have seen the Broncos use.
Vinyl banners congratulating a job well done were strung along containment fences in the streets of the parade. Teardrop flags line the hallways of Sports Authority Field cheering the home team on. Step and repeat banners flood the backgrounds during televised press conferences. Displays are everywhere!
How cool would it be to create the displays for our home team?! Not only the Broncos, but also the Rockies, Avalanche, Mammoth, and Nuggets!
Coming into 2016, we said we were going to do big things, so why not set our goals high and shoot for the moon? In the words of David Joseph Schwartz, “Think little goals and expect little achievements. Think big goals and win big success.”
This year we are going to win big success…just like the Broncos did.
