4 Ways to Conquer Your Industry With Trade Show Displays

by | Sep 22, 2014

I have a Willie Nelson song on repeat in my mind this morning: “On the road again, just can’t wait to get on the road again.” I think the song was triggered by a picture I received from my dad and the fact that he is literally on the road again.

If this is your first time reading our blog I will fill you in. My dad, Jeff, who happens to be the owner of Diers is traveling the country in his trusty RV, The Outlaw. My parents decided to embark on this new adventure a few months ago. They had been toying around with the idea for years, and finally bit the bullet. The Outlaw has become their new home, and my dad officially has a traveling office.

Now that you’re caught up – the picture above is what Diers Exhibit Group looks like on the road. My parents are currently staying in Walker, Minnesota on a crystal clear lake in the middle of fall. If you haven’t traveled to Minnesota in the fall then you are truly missing out. The fall leaves are absolutely breathtaking. Almost breathtaking enough to help get people through those nasty winter months. Let’s just say my parents won’t be staying in Minnesota for very long.

As I hum “On the road again” by Willie Nelson, and my parents cruise into the sunset. I keep thinking back to this picture my dad sent over, and it so conveniently highlights a phrase on our homepage.

“CONQUER your industry.”

We all want to gain control over our industry. We want to be the best and offer the best product. I want to offer some tips on how to be the best. Without further ado, I bring you:

4 Ways to Conquer Your Industry With Trade Show Displays

1. Kill it with unique graphics

Trade show displays have evolved. And so have our graphic capabilities in the industry.

Dye-sublimation on fabric has taken graphics to another level.

Now, we can bring a blank fabric canvas to life. If you are sitting on old, exhausted graphics. It is time for a change. Don’t second guess yourself, just let go. Spend the extra money on a new graphic. Admitting you have old graphics is the first step to killing it with unique graphics.

2.  Stay on top of the game

Part of keeping up with competitors in your industry is staying on top of your game.

Trade show displays are continually changing. Not only have we recreated the way we print graphics, but our structures are evolving as well.

There are so many creative possibilities.

If you want to conquer your industry, don’t play it safe. Design a display that will totally set you apart from competitors.

3. Tell your story

Potential clients want to know what is different about your company. They want to know what sets you apart.

So, use your trade show space to tell your story.

Don’t be afraid, to be honest, and open. Curiosity will draw people to your booth

4. Decide to dominate

If you decide that it is in your company’s best interest to exhibit at a trade show; give it all you’ve got.

Set goals for your team, and design a display that depicts your company brand and vision. When you set solid goals you are also setting the pace for your team. Bring the competitive energy and decide to dominate.

You can conquer your industry, and we can help. We want to know how we can better assist you:
